DACHS - Installation

Installation of the DACHS is no more complex than a conventional heat only boiler. The main location requirements and connections can summarised as follows:

Location

• Suitably ventilated plant room (shared with other heating appliances or dedicated for the DACHS unit(s))
• Approximate footprint required of 2 metres x 2 metres for each unit, which allows suitable access for service and maintenance

Connections

• Mechanical retaining plate for mounting the DACHS onto a plinth or plant room floor
• 15mm(gas) or 8mm(oil) fuel connection via flexible hose and isolating valve (Baxi supply)
• 25mm (1”) flow and return water circuit connections via flexible hoses (Baxi supply)
• 3-phase and neutral multi-core electrical connection, onto local plant room distribution board or main incoming supply
• A choice of flue connections is possible depending on application
